ABOUT MARIA

Maria Mukrdechian was born and raised in Roseville, Michigan, along with her seven siblings. Her childhood church and private elementary school experiences left her with a fear-based belief in God, rooted in a works view of salvation. It wasn't until Maria was a married adult with four sons that she began to focus on her faith. In September of 1992, during a very difficult time in her marriage, Maria made a decision to fully surrender her life to Jesus. That decision changed her life significantly, including the ability to give up control, and trust God for her identity and purpose. Soon afterwards, she found herself as a single mother leaning into her new found love for Jesus. This would become her way of life.

Through Jesus mercy and grace, she found a new church and reentered the workforce. To improve her earning potential, she earned a bachelor's degree in business and was hired by General Motors as a purchasing buyer.

Fueled by a deep desire to intimately know Jesus and embrace his abundant life, Maria is driven to uphold truth and passionately proclaim the gospel of his love. Today she is a seasoned Bible teacher and speaker who has traveled to South Africa, India, Brazil, Mexico, New York City and West Appalachia to bring the love of Christ.

Maria loves the joy and freedom that comes from having a relationship with Jesus and lives to see others come to know him deeply. Over the last 20 years, she has found joy in mentoring young women into that deep walk. She loves being with her sons and their spouses along with her four grandchildren, relishing the love and joy they share together.
